We, Wakenyaku, play a role in assisting total life science research. Our business offices are located in Kyoto, Shiga, Nara, Osaka and Hyogo, and we serve many of customers such as universities, research institutes, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in these nearby areas. What we distribute to these customers are not only high purity reagents, diagnostic drug products, research equipment and analytical instruments but also immunoassays and related reagent products for cell analysis which are manufactured and supplied by major leading suppliers in Japan and foreign countries. This is the last but not least, latest information about technology and products is indispensable to keep their research advanced. We continue to provide our customers with the information in a swift way and try to meet their requests and needs.

Quality and environmental initiatives
We, Wakenyaku have been working on the international certification of environmental management system (ISO14001:2004) and quality management system (ISO9001:2000), and was the first in the industry to simultaneously recieved both certifications on October 27, 2005.
Furthermore, we have been aiming at further progress and improvement, we simultaneously received the latest certifications, ISO14001:2015 and ISO9001:2015, on August 21, 2017.

Waken Group will increase customer satisfaction and trust by accurately grasping customer needs and striving to provide and develop products and services that achieve high customer satisfaction.
In accordance with our group's motto of "Altruism via business", we are supporsed to strive for the happiness of personnel and permanent growth as a company, while contributing to the local community as our management philosophy.
In order to achieve the above goals, we will build and establishe a quality management system, and all personnel including the president will work to continuously improve the operation and effectiveness of the system, while also implementing the following action.
- Waken Group align its quality policy with its business direction, set quality goals, and properly operate and manages them by utilizing the PDCA (plan-do-check-act) cycle.
- We develop high-quality products and services that satisfy customers, also conform with product requirements and legal requirements.

Environmental Policy
Waken Group develop our business with a full awareness of the effects of our business like sales of reagents and related equipment, service and the associated activities, of the local and global environment. In the place of Kyoto Protocol, we have established the environmental policy as following with the aim of preserving rich natural global environment into the future.
